A seasoned competitor in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Miguel Diaz made the transition to a full-time career in Mixed Martial Arts in 2017. With the addition of wrestling to his skill set, his amateur MMA career took off quickly.
In the Spring of 2019, Miguel made his professional debut — winning via submission with a rear naked choke. He compiled a professional record of 2-1 under the banner of Cage Fury Fighting Championships — the same East Coast promotion Prof. Cody Hier fought under — before stepping back from competition to focus on coaching full-time. He has also earned a black belt in BJJ under Daniel Gracie.
"His passionate coaching style is a reflection of his competitive spirit."
